Independence Hall, originally the Pennsylvania State House, was home to the Continental Congress. It was here that both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were adopted. This painting of Independence Hall in Philadelphia was chosen by the We the People 200 Committee to present to dignitaries who participated in the celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the signing of the Constitution.
