In "A View of the Hunt", the hunters emerge ready to engage in what may seem as quite the struggle for both the men and the animal. Yet, in this painting, a serenity can be found in the emotion of the fox, as he cleverly peers back at his predators from the other side of the fence, keeping him one step ahead of them.
