The intent of “The Wish” is to convey the interconnectedness of all things. The surface flowers and lily pad appear separate, but in looking deeper than the surface reflections we can see how all things are connected. The two pennies touching in the foreground signify two separate hopes that are in fact the same hope by both wishers. This drawing is printed on acid free 100% Bristol Velum and it mats in a standard size mat opening and therefore a standard size frame (framing instructions). It is reproduced from the original pencil drawing “The Wish”. The size of the original is 11" x 14". | |||
