West Chester University, located in the county seat of Chester County is one of the 14 state Universities in Pennsylvania. The pencil drawing "West Chester University" is of Philips Memorial Hall on the campus of West Chester University. The building was completed in 1927 and was named in honor of Principal George M. Philips (1881-1920). Philips Memorial Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. The building contains a library, the Presidential office suite and a concert hall. This drawing is printed on acid free 100% Bristol Velum and it mats in a standard size mat opening and therefore a standard size frame (framing instructions). It is reproduced from the original pencil drawing “West Chester University”. The size of the original is 14" x 16". |
