It is said that Lake Afton was named from the poem Afton Waters

by the Scottish poet Robert Burns ( 1759-1796)

"...Flow gently sweet Afton I'll sing thee a song"

Lake Afton is a man-made lake dating back to the early 1700's. It was built to serve as a water source for the Grist Mill. Lake Afton and the Old Library are the scenic center of historic Yardley Borough.

This limited edition print was reproduced from the original pen and ink drawing of the same name, using the highest quality craftsmanship and printed on fine neutral pH balanced paper.
